Position Summary:
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities in a home or long-term facility setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Daily Activities: Help patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Mobility Assistance: Assist with mobility and ambulation of patients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure proper patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information.
- Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Experience in an assisted living or in-home setting preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
