Position Summary:
As a Full Time Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to patients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Daily Activities: Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Patient Well-being: Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Mobility Assistance: Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Meal Assistance: Provide assistance with meals and ensure patients’ nutritional needs are met.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
- Infection Control: Follow proper infection control procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information in medical records.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the nursing team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of senior care, assisted living, nursing home, and memory care.
- Strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
