Position Summary:
As a Med Tech, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Life Support Procedures: Perform basic life support procedures, including CPR, as needed.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Obtain and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Administrative Support: Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance documentation.
- Billing and Coding: Assist with coding and billing procedures.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inhalation therapy techniques is a plus.
